For many of us the environment where we live is crucial. That is one of the reasons why eco friendly holidays are getting more and more popular. The concept "eco friendly holiday" is not strictly defined. You can do a lot of interesting things such as bird watching, some of them are connected with hiking, mountaineering, rock climbing, you can also visit a lot of landmarks and etc.
Many of the places which are supposed to be for eco friendly holidays are difficult to be passed and that is the reason why a lot of new eco trails have appeared on the cards. These places are very beautiful as though you are in paradise. Many cities have centers for environment protection where you can get new interesting information about the natural resources in that area.
Besides learning new things, eco friendly holidays are the solution for many diseases and infections. That is due to the places which are adjusted for this kind of tourism and they are far away from our busy schedules and polluted industrial cities. The abundance of herbs is also a big advantage which makes people interested in these quiet areas which are adjusted for eco friendly holidays.
There are two ethical standards of eco holidays which have to be respected:
1. You have to protect the nature - i.e. you must not pollute it and etc!
2. The welfare of local people - i.e. the care for the local population and the safe-keeping of their way of living
